Where other venture capital funds invest in companies, and the funds go into the startup ventures directly, Stable Ventures invests in you, the entrepreneur. We recognize that you might need a little financial help to overcome obstacles blocking your success. Some entrepreneurs need funds to reduce debt, others to pay rent, sometimes to file patents and intellectual property, and others to simply feed their families. Depending on the circumstances, Stable Ventures may provide a little funding to you as the entrepreneur. The funds are not provided as a loan, but to acquire a part of your stakes in current and future startup ventures.

The funding we provide is part of a package of support services aimed at overcoming obstacles to success and developing your business skills. It’s likely that your startup ventures will be funded by other investors and not by us. That’s fine. There are plenty of investors looking for well-constructed and well-managed startups. We’re unique in the way we focus our investments on you, the entrepreneur.

By buying a stake in your success, we align our interests directly with yours. But we also provide education, mentoring and advice to help you form and build compelling startups and navigate them toward profitable exits.

As a result of our unique relationship with Silicon Valley Business School, we provide you with a personalized educational program teaching you how to form, manage and grow successful startup ventures. We teach you about patents & intellectual property, raising finance, valuation, mergers, acquisitions, IPO’s and we help you understand how to negotiate and structure profitable transactions. The education we provide combines all the most important aspects of business school, with the most valuable topics from law school and the latest tips and techniques in digital marketing and other topics from Silicon Valley. Your business education will be unique and thorough, covering the similar ground to both an MBA and a JD law degree.

Some of the ways Stable Ventures differs from traditional venture capital funds:

Invests in entrepreneurs, rather than startup companies.
Develops entrepreneurs through unique personalized, educational programs.
Investors are provided with entrepreneur profiles before making the investment. With traditional funds, the portfolio companies and entrepreneurs are unknown to the investor at the time of the investment.
Proceeds from successful exits are distributed to investors on a pro-rata basis immediately upon receipt by the Fund.
The Fund has no term limit. The Fund continues to acquire holdings in new ventures for a period of at least ten years and continues to distribute proceeds from successful exits to investors indefinitely.
